If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.

How much does it cost?

We want everyone to experience the joy of flowers and can work with you to find a design that fits within your budget. Pricing is based on size, quantity, plant variety (annuals, perennials, evergreens), and by length for window boxes. Soil is $30 per bag and compost is $15 per bag. A travel fee applies for installations outside Wilmington and Wrightsville Beach city limits. A 50% deposit is required from all new clients before we begin purchasing materials for your project.

What are the sunlight level definitions?

  • Full sun: 6+ hours of direct sun per day

  • Part sun: 4 to 6 hours of direct sun per day, including any afternoon sun

  • Part shade: 4 to 6 hours of direct sun per day, mostly before midday

  • Full shade: Less than 4 hours of direct sun per day

Does everyone get the same arrangement? I have people who already use you on my block and I want to be different.

Each design is uniquely tailored to your taste, growing conditions, color preferences, and space.

I have a black thumb. Am I going to kill it? What happens if I kill it?

People usually kill plants because they choose the wrong plants for the space or neglect to care for them. We provide you with a full custom care guide after each installation. If a plant looks like it's struggling over the course of the season, reach out to us, and we can try to help you. Please note, we are unable to offer refunds for plant material. We are not responsible for plants damaged due to improper irrigation, weather events, natural disasters, or animals.

Once installed, proper care of newly installed/transplanted plants consists of adequate watering and periodic fertilizing. All transplanted plants require daily watering for a minimum of 2 weeks. Newly installed plants require every other day watering for 2 weeks. Watering may not be as frequent in cooler temperatures.

What about drip irrigation?

We recommend drip and have relationships with local drip irrigation specialists. Regularly watered pots and beds always look the best.

Can I choose what goes into my design?

We do our best to honor color requests and keep out certain plants if you don't care for specific varieties. The most "controversial" colors tend to be red, orange, and yellow. Our clients typically give us carte blanche to do what we do best. We source the highest-quality plant material available from growers.

Do you plant in second story window boxes?

At this time, we do not plant second and third story window boxes.

Do you offer other services like a traditional landscape company or florist?

We do not provide indoor plants/plant care or general landscaping services such as tree planting, hardscaping, or landscaping removal. We do not provide cut flower arrangements. We are not a traditional retail garden center, however you CAN order outdoor shrubs, perennials and annuals through us, many of which you cannot find in local nurseries. Payment must be received in full before we order your plants with our supplier.

Should I clean out my containers or prep my flower bed?

We prefer that you clean out your containers in advance. However, if you are unable, we will do so for a fee. Flower beds must be established in advance of planting. We always amend the bed with compost before installation.

Do you offer maintenance?

We can work with you to create a maintenance contract that best suits your needs. Our range of services includes fertilization, plant swaps, pruning, deadheading, and even watering while you are out of town!
